What is it?

The ARP™ SNOW kit is the ultimate piece of filming equipment for snow sports. The main system consists of 2 parts, a miniature super light weight head camera (just 40g) and a state of the art DVR (digital video recorder) that can produce DVD quality footage.

How does it work ?

Simply hook the kit up, slide the ski cam into place and press record. Then its up to you for a little while to do something mildly entertaining for your new head camera to film. Once the action is over you can watch snowboard or skiing footage back there and then on the mini DVRs built in screen. Then once home (or back to a laptop) you can download the files to your computer where you can then burn them onto DVD or upload them to YouTube!

Also included is our latest DV4 digital video recorder with remote control capable of producing DVD quality footage. Camera Mount

Every person has there own preference on camera mounting so you have a choice of two options when purchasing. Aren't we thoughtful!

Audio Recording

An optimised microphone is supplied with the head camera which is ideal for recording audio like the sound of skis on snow.

Also included is a set of 4Kam Earphones. These will enable you to use your DVR as an MP3 player too, ideal if you are out for the day.

I was impressed with the videos the kit took, even more impressed viewing them on the monitor after i had only seen them on the dvr. The footage was clear and very smooth, looked great. I was also impressed with the battery life in the cold of the dvr and the cam, and it was great too to use the dvr as an mp3 player when i was skiing and not taking footage.
